In lonely in your absence,
But I'm lonely by your side;
I want to stop the silence,
But instead I run and hide.
You know I care about you,
And you know I won't run far;
I'm everywhere you go,
Because my heart is where you are.
We've always had our problems,
And I know we'll make it through;
But all I need right now is just
Some time away from you.
I'm sorting out my feelings,
Though each day you give me more;
They seep into my heart, right through,
The giant hole you tore.
I hope you'll be here for me,
When I tell you all the news;
And I hope you will support me,
Down whatever path I choose.
