But There Was An Ulterior Motive

But There Was An Ulterior Motive

At times
I feel
People are watching
My every move
Could it simply
Be
Paranoia
Or
Could there
Be those
Who believe
I have found
The two
Fabled lost mines
Of Mexico
Tayopa
And
El Naranjal
I wonder
Could such a thing
Even be possible
Should I take
An extended vacation
As if
I’m not already on one
And go to Mexico
For six months
And possibly
Risk life and limb
Maybe
One day
I will
Do such a thing
Shoot
If they could
Capture El Chapo
They can
Break The Zetas
But there was an Ulterior Motive
For capturing El Chapo
Namely the drought in California
And possibly causing Sinaloans
To grow crops for the US
Instead of drugs
Though
I doubt that will happen
Maybe one day
When the Zetas are not a threat
I’ll return to Mexico
And prospect again
