Butter Poem by Rimni chakravarty

Butter

I remember in childhood I loved butter toast with black pepper
Those were the days when I would fly far
On my imaginary wings soaring high
My eyes were always on the skies
I never learned to be grounded to earth
So I cannot achieve in this birth.

As nowadays you need to butter
You need to flatter
This is what makes your communication skill better
But I neither can butter nor flatter
To win my goal
Life becomes an empty hole
From where fortune fall
My back gets stuck against the wall.
