Butterflies Of Light - Poem by Paddy Scott Hogg

Butterflies Of Light -

Rating: 2.7

The candles were lit
I watched her undress
Stood in awe
Our arms embraced
In tender caress
Her smile, a radiant glow
Our lips met
A KISS
O a KISS!
Like rivers of music
In Kaleidoscopic bliss
A tapestry night
Butterflies of light
Fluttered on golden wings
Blissing out on you

O Shiva, enslave me
Set me free
The spark in your eye
My last sight before I die
My soul docked in your sea.
A harbour of peace
Tranquility.

Moments forever
Touch sublime
Cinnamon candles
Suspended Time
Madonna’s music,
Rhythmic bodies to the beat
Like dolphins in an ocean so deep
Quenching flames
Love in flight
Butterflies of light
Fluttered on golden wings
Blissing out on you.
