Butterfly Poem by Alfred Ramos

Butterfly

I can spread my wings
Do all the right things
Fly into your daydream
Catch the jet stream
Float into a gentle breeze
I've only the Gods to please
Catch me if you can
As I rise above the horizon
Catch me if can
Before the day is done
I can rest among the fragrance of perfume
Imagine all the aromas I can consume
While I bask in the warmth of the sun
I'm here for you, I'm here for everyone
Catch me if you cdan
As the sun chases the moon
Catch me if you can
As I dance away the afternoon
I see the world from a different view
The wine of life is the morning dew
I can show my colors, through and through
Forever rainbows for me and you
