By The Light Of A Steel Gray Moon

Driving home late one night
The sky is lit by a full moon bright
I scan the road for sign of deer
The reflect of the eye’s so near
But no animals could be seen
Veiled in this steel gray dream
So bright out, I could see acres away
Making my way home, at the end of the day
