By The Sea Poem by Tracy Neale

By The Sea

You and me, down by the sea,
Today we went there, today we were free.

To smell the air, and watch the waves roll,
Gather our thoughts, to again feel whole.

A perfect setting for lives varied so,
People young, people old, people to and fro.

Nice dreams, ice-creams and sailing boats,
Positive feelings, oh! How hope floats.

Walking and talking, laughing out loud,
Sitting and watching, making pictures in clouds.

Hugs and kisses, realistic wishes,
Lovable words, how beautiful life is.

You and me, down by the sea,
Today we went there, today we were free.
