Bye-Bye Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Bye-Bye

Bye-Bye

Simple
As simple as was
Judy’s niece, years ago
When she told me: “silly”
Want to say to you, sparrow
I am sorry for the stone I threw
That dropped you dead on ground

But

Simple
As simple as was
Judy’s niece, years ago
When she told me: “silly”
Want to tell you, you sparrow
Were smartly silly…

Still feel the softness of your feather
And that warmth of your body
And beating of your heart
And my eyes could not
And cannot ever
Believe that
You flew
So take
Care

Bye-Bye
