Bye Bye Day Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Bye Bye Day

Sweet times are coming
in spring breezy play,
blossoms new blooming
in the bouquets tray.
But remember days gone
and everything we had,
life carries its time on
don't be lonely or sad.

Bye bye day
you were lovely,
nothing more to say
I set you free.
Everything on goes
lonely hours too,
like the wind blows
that comes through.

The night's in its brightness
flowers cast to grow,
everything is now fresh
in spring sunshine glow.
Feel the morning new
everything is alright,
dreams are all up to you
in new days and night

Bye bye day
you were lovely,
nothing more to say
I set you free.
Everything on goes
lonely hours too,
like the wind blows
that comes through.

Bye bye time
dreams don't stay,
everything has its prime
and its own way.
Life grows and clinches
turning the tides,
grown out flinches
oblivion rides.
