Our class of Shakespeare
Became a must
You’ve opened the door of imagination
& fantasy gave us lust…
“From Kamakshi’s, marriage,
To the butter-scotch kiss”
“From the poisonous Charnamrit,
To the pure bosom of Meerabai”
“From the cruelty of the butcher,
To the love of a mother”
You’ve spread the magic of literature
By sprinkling knowledge upon us.”
You made us wonder,
You made us laugh,
You were our family member,
Not a part of the staff.
You inspired us to think,
Taught us how to play with words,
We never dared to blink,
Your classes gave us wings.
But now we don’t deserve you,
Options are not even few: -(
You were the fairy of our lives,
