Bye Bye Mummy Poem by George Capron

Bye Bye Mummy

BYE BYE MUMMY

Precious was your time with us
O darling Mummy dear
Now that you've gone and
Left us for a land so sweet and fair

You gave us hope and happiness
We do not fret dear Mummy
For now we know
you're with the blessed

We miss the twinkle
In your eyes
We miss your charm
As you made us smile

Gone away from us
For a place not far away
We know you'll be there
To warmly greet us

On that great day
Happy! Happy! Happy!
Will be our chorus
We know you’ll be there
Patiently waiting for us
