Changing Days Poem by George Capron

Changing Days

The times they are changing
And life is moving on
Every sunrise and sunset
A new child is born

Even now our morning is turning
Into noon
And even into sunset,
Then we will be gone soon

As life is coming to its close
Our days are getting fewer
We are heading to our repose
Across that pleasant river

We live in the hope
Our Lord will descend
And bring us to his side
As we walk with pride,

Toward his precious light
Happily we go to a land,
Where there is no night,
I'm ready, let us take flight
