Bygone Newlyweds Poem by Paul Mills

Bygone Newlyweds

Running her mouth so fast and furious
Making it sound so harsh and serious
Wagging her tongue with all her might
When it comes down to it not much smite
So very often I wish and wonder why
She was not born just a bit more shy
