Cabaret Sky Poem by Reynaldo Casison

Cabaret Sky

Rating: 5.0

Hazel eyes

Moonlit

Stars light up the sky

Notes cascade from breast to breast

Under our cabaret sky

Gowns are sewn of splendor
Rhythms awake from
Their aloofness
Bedazzled by her hazel eyes

Stars light up the sky
Bedazzled by our eyes

Hazel,
Brown,
Green,
Blue
The spectrum sings a rainbow

Petals take a bow,
Doves lend their wings

Tunes gaze from iris to iris
As Stars light up the sky

Petals take a bow,
Doves lend their wings

Lovely notes
Lovely melodies
Lovely Petals
Lovely doves
Beam from being to being
Under our surreal cabaret sky
Under our surreal cabaret sky
Under our surreal cabaret sky
