Cactus-3 Poem by Namita Rani Panda

Cactus-3

Reclining on a cushion of needles
I keep on scattering blooming smiles
proclaiming the victory of tenacity
in spite of limitless adversity
amidst sands cape for miles and miles
in the sea of ordeals I can flourish
beating the constantly blazing ball of fire
striving valiantly alone without fear.
I'm a lovely cactus bloom,
though soft and sweet, supremely stubborn!
