Cage Me In Your Heart (Sonnet #16) Poem by Tina Baaklini

Cage Me In Your Heart (Sonnet #16)

As a soft rainbow after a cold rain,
As a special sunrise hailed by love birds,
As a gentle breeze watering dry plains,
O soulmate, thus you came into my world.

And my heart opened its windows to light,
And my soul wore its transparent white veil,
Your love enriched my life with peace, delight,
You showed and taught me how true love prevails.

O cage me in your heart, my paradise,
Let's sail far on the sea of tenderness,
Blessed I am by your love, my divine prize,
A love so invincible and endless

Let's embark to a life of happiness
For love is calling us now, let's say yes!
