Caged Poem by Dyllan Martin

Caged

Today,
Tears fall from open skys,
And I watch them fall upon this prison they call a 'house'

It's not a house to me,
It cages me in,
Some days I wish to run and never look back,
But the walls keep me trapped,

So here I sit,
Isolated from human contact,
I want to send an sos to those I call friends,
But who'd reply,

So I'll just wait 'til someone comes,
To break these walls,
And set me free.
