Caged Me Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Caged Me

Uncharted realms I shall abide
If coming this way
Form of travel
Taking form anywhere
Everywhere where these wishes go

Such a fascination
To move onward
In a subconscious state
Conscious upon destination

Warp speed salvation
Going places
Astral visions
Deciding, Inviting
Me to go wherever I may roam

Tired of being stuck
So many places to be
Too many dreams
Wasting time, Endless mind
Needing the need to feel complete

To become truly free
I need to travel many distances
Never being limited by life
Making each dream real
Never stuck in a universe of fictional schemes

To flow wherever
With no worries at all
Escaping this prison
Guiding self in any direction
All by the faith installed within me

Intrigued by distance
Persistent with dreaming
Traveling onward achieving
Each destination towards each heart beat
Taking in all the heartfelt scenery

Time, liberate me
I need to finally be freed!
