Caged Soul Poem by Minerva Agriam

Caged Soul

Rating: 5.0

As I searched for answers
For every mishaps and hardships came;
I found none, but more complicated questions.
Opening yet another mystery,
At how life so unfair for all that are weak.

Oh, you that are strong and powerful,
Do impose your prowers to get what you wanted.
Thinking that your gain is everyone's benefit.
But not for all yet...

As God created all things unique;
No one is exactly the same as another being.
Everyone has life, a calling to fulfill,
The true reason for existence.

I intended to write that I hated my profession.
But I can't expound without setting my soul free;
From the bondage of fear that everyone
Will criticise me as ungrateful.

It's obvious that this profession is not my calling.
I am a dreamer, not a seller.
I could dream all day and still live.
I will surely die if I work even one wholeday.

Here I see at every adversity, no one is beside me.
Alone, I asked myself the same questions.
Why my life is full of mystery and hardships,
When my parents had made ways for me to follow?

It must be so sweet to unravel the mystery of life.
But I have a caged soul,
Fearful and ready to follow my parents wishes.
And here I am regretting everything.

An easy display of difficult life, Minerva. A good style of writing a Bio poem. You may like to read my poem, Love And Lust. Thank you.
