California Calling Poem by Ruben Tover

California Calling

Cultural diversity, melting pot excitement
One hundred flavors, differences abound.
Judges busy with indictments
Foreclosures all around.

Golden Hills of dryness
Highest point in Nation,
Lowest point Death Valley
Needs new Administration.

California Calling,
Rolling with the Roll
Shaking with the shake,
Humbled by the Quake.

Life is what you make it,
Knead the dough and bake it.
Ask for what you need.
That's the reason why he bleeds.
