Unelected Caligula sent
the Roman army
to the shore
to collect
seashells

Our unelected White House
resident sent the US army
beyond its shores
to collect oil for Exxon and BP
Unocal Chevron and Shell


For the adults and babies
and animals of Iraq
and their own soldiers
the White House
created hell.

shortly after
the seashore shells
secret powers
rang
for Caligula
the exit bell.


(God give George Bush the grace to follow the whispers of conscience
rather than the programming of his father and the warmongers
who surround him.)
