Call from the peace
At every moment—
Not my delusion,
No, Never at all…
I live and love, incessantly,
Through and within every moment.
I do not want to break the course
Of my ever-flowing river of life.
How foolish can I be?
Every breath, every moment,
I tell others, "Be alive! Stay alive! "
Yet here I am, half-dead,
Sleeping through each moment,
Wondering if I am the truth—or if I am not.
But awakening comes to me
With every breath and every moment.
Everything manifests the truth.
Why should I be stuck in wonder,
Questioning if I am the truth—or if I am not?
Is this a dream, or a dream within a dream?
With each breath, at every moment,
I am graced to be awake and enlightened.
It is not ironic to deny death
And engage in the celebration of life's continuity,
Calling it the truth—
the everlasting reality, the hidden truth.
My true self asks me to celebrate
Being awake and enlightened
In my divine reality.
Oh, what else to do at this very moment
But repeat the ancient mantra:
I Am The Truth.
