Six pm. Still no call
I sit here waiting
Not budging
Not Eating
Do you know how much I worry?
You’ve disappeared without a word
How can you be so selfish?
Deserted, a lost bird.
Some may not understand me
They can’t imagine
A waterless sea
Yin ‘n’ yang, you and me.
A tear dropp falls from my eye
A tear you can’t see
The tear only represents a small fraction
Did you read, the caption?
My broken mind, my broken soul
My sleepy eyes
Waiting endlessly
Without you, I am lonely
Waiting for you to call me
What can I possibly do?
As I have left many messages for you
The wait ends with. You.

We seek only that which is untouchable... we reach so hard we push away... time spent waiting by a phone only makes the phone call further away.... Alison
