Call To Action (In A Time Of Unexpected Loss) Poem by Pierre Rausch

Call To Action (In A Time Of Unexpected Loss)

A high-speed trip through the past
So the knitting shop could become a reality
To appreciate her cultured approach
We need an agenda for the night

Call to action
In a time of unexpected loss
A lot to discuss
In a time of unexpected loss
He heads straight for them
And runs out as soons as the door opens
Watching as he turns around in the kitchen
He tells you you're stupid and odd, but you're not

And knelt down in front of the shop
A screenwriter and moviemaker
Mixed-media set our take-out
The curtain rose and our eyes began to shine

Call to action
In a time of unexpected loss
A lot to discuss
In a time of unexpected loss
He heads straight for them
And runs out as soons as the door opens
Watching as he turns around in the kitchen
He tells you you're stupid and odd, but you're not

That means lots of changing
Brought out both better and worse
Had all the right connections
Selling amulets for woman
