Calling Card Poem by Shalini Rao

Calling Card

Rating: 4.5

Whipped out of pockets
(At client meetings and networking seminars)
Shoved under table cloths
Left behind in loos
A collector's item
To be stored in files or boxes
Retrieved only when you want a favour.
It is light.
It is cumbersome.
It is an identity.
But most of the time,
You just can't put a face to it.
