Can Love Really Save You? Poem by Katheryn Foley

Can Love Really Save You?

Is there anybody out there wandering the streets?
I'm bleeding eternally can someone help me please?
screaming inside can someone take the pain away
panic awaiting the attack can someone help be my escape?
listen as the cars speed by laying still wondering why
the world is so cold the world is so dark
loneliness takes over and you feel worthless
crying and lying in one tangled mess.
Only one can save you and make everything better
but will he ever realize that your the one that's worth saving?
There's a million other people on this planet
Yet most of us are lonely like me.
why do we feel pain when love is all around?
Why do we cry when one has been crowned?
