Can’t Believe I Hurt You This Way - Poem by kendyll brown

a strangled smile
fell fron your face
it kills me that
i hurt you this way
the worst part it
i didnt even know
now theres a million reasons
for you too go
but if you can find
a reason to stay
i'll do whatever it takes
to turn this around
i know whats at stake
i know iv let you down
so if you give me a chance
to believe that i can change
i'll keep us together
whatever it takes

cause if were gonna
make this work
you gotta let me say it
even though it hurts
dont hide the broken parts
i have to see
