Can'T Help Hoping Poem by Eva Pearl Frost

Can'T Help Hoping

The clouds are fading,
The sun is setting,
Before you know it...
Another day has gone.

I'm tired of waiting,
Knowing it's not happening,
I can't help hoping...
That my dreams will come true soon.

Staying awake at night,
Used to be a greatest idea,
Until it ate me up crying...
Bothering me in my sleep.

Talking isn't helping,
It still doesn't change the fact,
I'm still waiting for it...
I'm wasting my time.

Can't help hoping,
It'll be what I want at the end,
Then the entire wait...
Would be worth it.

Can't help hoping,
You did this for a good reason,
Good enough for me to understand...
And at the end it's all alright.

Can't help hoping,
You're feeling the same,
Going crazy and driving up the walls...
I feel like I'm the only one going insane.

Can't help hoping,
You're just taking the time,
To put the right words out...
What I'm craving to hear.

Can't help hoping,
You're waiting till we meet,
Face to face...
Because you want to see me.

Can't help hoping,
This will all end out just perfectly fine,
You and I...
