Can We Talk - Poem by Louise Myers

'Can we talk'
is not just a cliche,
But what I planned
for all of your days,

It is my desire that
you speak with me,
#1 person to you
I want to be,

Come closer and
know my every way,
My love for you the same
each and everyday,

I know what is in your heart
and I promise never to part,

So talk to me always
I am never bored,
Invitation extended
from the heart of your Lord.

    Louise
I'd like to see this written in stone.
    Brilliant!
