Can you hear me
Can you hear me crying
Can you see me
Can you see my heart dying

Can you touch me
Or just give me a sign
Something so I know
That you're doing fine

Can you talk to me
So I can hear your voice again
I know it will take me back
To a happier time back when

You were here beside me
I was holding you close
Those are the times
I'm going to miss the most

Can you hear me crying
Softly sighing
As very slowly
My heart is dying

God took you away
Now you're back home
Up there in heaven
While I'm here all alone
