Cancer Sticks Poem by Matt Greenblatt

Cancer Sticks

In your heart you are
The smoker you despise
You're not weak, just dependent
Inhaling others like cigarettes
Twenty in a pack sold at
Sixty dollars for a dozen to
Take in social tar
And ease it down
With soothing menthol
Still you insist that I'm
The one who's growing tumors
