Cancer The Dread Poem by Alyssa Cox

Cancer The Dread

Doesn't matter why,
You are soon to die! !
You can cut me with a knife,
I will still take your life! !
You can use Radiation, drugs, and chemo too,
Remember I am after you! !
If you come out with something new,
Hell I will find a way to elude it too! !
When I suck out your life,
Remember you started the fight with the knife! !
Change the things you do, stop smoking and drinking too,
It's too late, I'm already inside you! !
I make the pain great,
You think you are standing at Hells gate,
I think it's kind of fun,
cause you have no place to run! !
You want to be a hero and be strong,
Sorry it's already gone! !
For those that think they've come through
Remember I'm asleep, waiting for you! !

My Uncle wrote this when he found out that his cancer was back... He has five months left to live, and he's going to live those few months he has left to the fullest! This is to everyone that has Cancer and the feelings that involved with it. God Bless you! [3
