We are asking all the questions that need not be asked.
Isn't the fact that we are here beautiful enough?
We try to give meaning where only none make sense.
Is the lack of meaning not calming to you?
We are pushing away a life that is tailor made for us.
Can we not accept it, and not twist it for us?
We live in a sea of light, and are afraid of the light bulb.
Should we wall ourselves in darkness?
We make up answers for questions we have posed for no one.
Are you surprised that we are drowning in answers?

Excellent poem Ynon! Every answer for me brings up endless questions for I am too curious for my own good. 'Isn't the fact that we are here beautiful enough'? What is the reason for my being here, I ask? A losing battle that can never be won, your poem depicts this very well.10+++ Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
