Can’t you see
What I see?
Can’t you see
Your beauty?
Such an amazing girl,
Such a golden heart,
And I watch her,
Slowly tear herself apart.
Your beauty is radiant,
But you don’t see your shine.
You think your body is all you have to give,
And that’s what I don’t seem to get.
You think the only eyes,
That sees your inner beauty are mine,
And maybe you’re right
Because I don’t see things
Only with sight.
What will you do
When your looks fail you?
What will you say
When your world falls away?
Who will you run to?
And who will be there?
Maybe you shouldn’t push away
All the ones that care..
