Cards That Fell Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Cards That Fell

Cards that fell
Though numerous were
Ahi! That was what I had
And it all fell!
At now at sixty-eight
My richness is gone
My work that I worked o
Is castle fallen to stone
Stone here
Sone there
Tragedy everywhere
A
Toll
Toll
The funereal bells!
