Carnal Poem by Bree Z Love

Carnal

Tunnelling through this temple.
Searching for an opened window.
An oval shaping more layered; yet a smalling of a thimble.
Scavenging and chiseling; maybe to find some kind of door.
Frantic to escaped to see a flicker of a candle.
To light a path of a land once known.
Known to those who found a road; humbled.
Mind, flesh, bone to marrow.
Festered the soul; gouging to be rekindled.
The writings on the wall shows the sorrows;
of the divided temple.
