'Carpet' Poem by Mae Bonnin

'Carpet'

Tell it secrets once or more
Take of your shoes and sit on the floor.
Tear the folds from your concious heart.
Carpet is the place to start.

Tell it anything, it listens well.
Worries it will never tell.
