Carrying Your Baby Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Carrying Your Baby

I am carrying your baby and, you are nowhere to be found;
You are the only one that my heart desires,
And you are nowhere to be seen.

Why does it always rain on me? !
Is it because i lied when i was very young?
However, your love to me is like, a journey laid down by my ancestors.

How many feet am i in your shoes? !
I am carrying your baby and, you are nowhere to be found;
Why?
Even the lovely mountains dropped sweet wine on us! When we first met.

I will deliver very soon but,
You are nowhere to be found;
Sadness! !
Anguish is her who brings forth her first child; without the father of the child around.
