Over his heart he wore a suit,
Double breasted and dapper.
Underneath he wore a white shirt
That the world but him was blind to.
She wore sandals along the beach,
Eyes reflect the blue moon.
Smiling, she sat upon the bank
With hand stuck firm under the loose sand.
She was once like him, and he, her,
But the days show the differences
Of suit and sandal, only but one
A status she does not like.
She will not wear the suit anymore,
And he will not wear the sandal.
All she wants is one tiny moment,
But he wants all with the moment.
