Guitar Poem by Conor Phelan

Guitar

It stood on it's stand,
The light reflecting
Strings, polished by cloth
Lovingly in hand.
Played in key of G,
Soft sweet sounds from strum,
Silence is undone.
All notes roaming free,
Yet they had run out,
Miffed by how to
Play more, wrapped by doubt
Began to play through
Easy songs which are
Done not moving far.
