Catalyst Poem by Brandon Nothing

Catalyst

With cunning ingenuity surpass them
Leave it blank on the sheet
Born into apartheid
With the glory of grey impounded in your skin
Accepted by outcasts
Apathy that vibrantly illuminates
The black and white streets
When passion seized to exist
Co-founded by the hatred
Next thing is obsolete inquisition
That embodies fluid
Sail the glacier’s flow
To a dreaded cold place
To the north where we dare not step
To slay the beast so we can remain civil
Imprint a vile clash
Spinning, faster, faster
Prolonging blind devotion
Come please show me how to believe
I am too stupid to do it myself
Reveal to me who I am
You will never know
Because I dismantle the shadows
I ignite the loss of day
When the gorgon glowers the oasis
Let the mountain rise to heaven
As the punishments are futile
Question the forsaken
We expose the monarchy
For the house of light to behold
Behold, behold the goddess
Titan of war
