Catharsis At Jupiter Poem by David Corman

Catharsis At Jupiter

Bend Back
Shriek in Euphoria
Pistols Fire
Titans Clash
In my Mind, They Dance
Showering in Mud
Filled with Grit
My Teeth
Blinking Faster
Faster than the Average Owl
Twinges in my Spine

Underestimate the Rain
Shatters and Crackles
Etched into Pavement
Soaking my Eyes in Your Skin
Lips are Dry
The Wind is Brisk

A Burst of Cold Air
Your Gift To Me
I See You
I Feel my Ribs Breaking
My Hands Tingle
My Fingers Grow Numb
My Smile Eases into Constant
I'm Looking To Jupiter
