Hamytaf Hushes

Caught - Poem by Hamytaf Hushes

Wings tied
In the most horrible way, I can't describe
The truth that I'm supposed to accept
Tangles my heart up like a spider web

Now that I've been caught, I can't fly
You can't blame me, I did try
Drowning has always been my last wish
But I've fallen now, even if it seems foolish

It's beyond my control
And I wasn't told
That falling for you kills
It's fatal, but I don't want to heal
