Celebration Of Fall Poem by Priya Vaidya

Celebration Of Fall

Celebration of Fall

Another season of fall
A season I call remembrance...
It's the glory of finer things
Celebration of moments recalled by the vibration of colors...

Every year it comes and goes,
It always makes a mark,
With the leaves it takes my heart
to a land of unspoken art
Old memories come back
during this season of fall
I cherish old times, remember old pals
savor those moments, I have kept in my heart

I like to think, I like to sing
I like to marvel at this season of art
I like to be alone in woods
In the company of trees tall
I smell the season and its feathers
Destined to very soon be apart...

The crispness in the air
The heaviness of the trees
Its the feeling of satisfaction
upon them I perceive

Chirping birds fly home,
squirrels get ready for dark
I rest in satisfied silence
To welcome another pause!

Rich flow of thought elegantly brought forth in good diction with insight. A lovely piece indeed. Thanks for sharing Priya.
