Cement Sidewalk Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Cement Sidewalk

I walked on grassy green
But I didn't mean,
To rest on it.

I rode up a mountain,
High.
I saw a blue struck sky.

I swam in oceans,
Bright with foam.
I did in beauty roam.

I walked upon cement sidewalks.
I kept walking nonstop.
I reached my goal,
My dream.
