Censorship Poem by Heather Capelli

Censorship

Someone took my hate away.
My words of anger, published here
in pain and bitterness and fear.

I put them where they could be seen
and maybe that was wrong, or mean
True, they didn't really represent me.

If I had half a thought, I thought I'd take them back
I think I'd swallow, watch them follow all those burdens that fell from my back

Since I began to heal and pain began to fade
and I thought better of them, and peace was made

But someone had more thoughts than I
and someone, somewhere, hid them from the public eye.

Someone took my hate away.
Before I could get to it
...So screw it.

Since I began to heal and pain began to fade and I thought better of them, and peace was made...Pain does not last for long time. You have to keep trust on God. Pain will be smaller and you will get peace. This poem is stunningly penned with wonderful mind.
