Chains
I am afraid
I am afraid to try for things
I am afraid to try for thing that I want
I am afraid to try for thing that I want because I am afraid of rejected
afraid of the hurt
afraid of the pain
afraid of the laughter and mockery and the ruining of my name
Because I am afraid, I hold myself back
and so I sit here, alone, in my room,
and I cry
