Chains - Poem by Danielle Cutler

Aggression blinds me
Passion captivates me
Possibility moves me

Seduced by my liberation,
I become bound again.

Chained to my fantasy
This is the one..
Is this the one…

Chained to my hope
Love will be requited.

Chained to my desire
Desire for equality.

My Heart aches
To find its match!

My Soul yearns
To find its mate!

I blindly follow my Truth
Never receiving Justice.

Chains… wound deeply
As I break away from my illusion.
