Chains Of Love Poem by cody byrne

Chains Of Love

Chains of Love

As it is I sit here
To her presence I am drawn
But as I am I may not move

My dying
Breath I take
If she should leave
The pain I feel the love I need

Her flawless beauty
Is my greed

Her love I desire
Her company I require
She is all I love

Mixed emotions
Pain and pleasure
Love and hate
Will open the gate

To our love
Confusion wont be
The conclusion

She holds the key
But does she see me

Our love unbroken
Our passion untamed

Ill reach out and
Grasp the lions mane

The power is deep
The price is steep
I see her in my sleep

Death undefined
Life redizined

Her eyes I seek
Though they make me weak
Wether brown blue our green
I remain unseen

I will find her
I will let her know
I love her
I will not let go

The time is right
I will hold on tight
I will win the fight
She will see the light

As I sit her
To her presence
I am drawn

So shall it be
I will be seen
And we shall be free
