Does time ever laugh?
When it looks down on earth
and says
'Pity them always rushing
for more time
when they have none'
Do you think destiny cries?
When they see all the pain
filled eyes of us humans
and say
'I wish to bring you happiness
but I cannot'
Do you think fate begs?
When they see it all set in the stone
and realizes that it's too late
and that it was all for nothing
Do you think love wishes?
When they see two halves broken apart
and knows never again
will they hold each other
Do you think death smiles?
When the job is done
and he see's all the faces
of pain on us
And do you think they all care?
When it's far too late
to change
